It can work for a long time at 180 ° C, and can withstand a few weeks or more at 200 ° C. It is also flexible, and it can instantly withstand high temperatures above 300 ° C. The permeability of silicone rubber is good, and the oxygen permeability is better in the synthetic polymer. In addition, silicone rubber also has the outstanding characteristics of physiological inertia and does not cause coagulation, so it is widely used in the medical field.


The main performance is as follows:


First, low temperature performance: the glass transition temperature of silicone rubber is generally -70 ~ 50 ° C, and special technology can reach -100 ° C, indicating that its low temperature performance is excellent. This is of great significance to the aviation and aerospace industry.


Second, high temperature performance: silicone rubber is characterized by high temperature stability. Although the strength of silicone rubber at room temperature is the most natural rubber or half of some synthetic rubber, but at high temperatures above 200 ° C, silicone rubber can still maintain a certain flexibility, elasticity and surface hardness, and its mechanical properties have not significantly changed.


Third, weather resistance: the silicone silicone bond in silicone rubber is very stable to oxygen, ozone and ultraviolet light, and has excellent weather resistance without adding any additives.


Physical and mechanical properties: the physical and mechanical properties of silicone rubber at room temperature are worse than ordinary rubber, but at 150 ° C high temperature and -50 ° C low temperature, its physical and mechanical properties are better than ordinary rubber.


5. Oil and chemical resistance: Ordinary silicone rubber has medium oil resistance and solvent resistance.

Gas permeability: At room temperature, the permeability of silicone rubber to air, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide and other gases is 30 to 50 times higher than that of natural rubber.

Products are widely used in metallurgical industry, power engineering, petrochemical, electronic devices, automotive industry and other manufacturing industries. Silicone rubber control cables are suitable for 450/750 volt AC ratings and for laying mobile or fixed equipment.
